1. Product Disclosure & Diamond Origin​

At Shiny Diamond Lab, we are proud to offer lab-grown diamonds, natural diamonds, and other precious gemstones.  Unless otherwise stated, most of our pieces feature lab-grown diamonds,  created using advanced technology that replicates the natural diamond formation process, resulting in chemically, physically, and optically identical diamonds.

We respect and support full transparency in the industry. Should you wish to specifically request natural diamonds or gemstones, we are happy to source and quote accordingly. Our goal is to meet every preference, taste, and budget with integrity.

2. Custom Orders & Modifications

Custom designed pieces are made-to-order, require full upfront payment and are non-refundable once production begins. Lead times and pricing will be clearly communicated prior to confirmation. Any modifications post-approval may incur additional charges and time extensions.

3. Returns & Exchanges

Due to the bespoke nature of our products, returns and exchanges are assessed case-by-case. Please contact us within 7 days of delivery if you have concerns about your order. In the rare case of a manufacturing fault, repairs or replacements will be offered in line with our quality assurance policy.

4. Certification & Authenticity

All diamonds (lab-grown or natural) used in our jewellery are certified by reputable grading laboratories and are accompanied by documentation where applicable. We stand behind the authenticity and craftsmanship of every piece.

All content, designs, and images on this website are the property of Shiny Diamond Lab (Pty) Ltd and may not be reproduced, copied, or shared without written consent.

6. Limitation of Liability

While we strive for excellence in every interaction, Shiny Diamond Lab is not liable for indirect damages, delays due to suppliers, or circumstances beyond our control (including customs, courier delays, or market fluctuations in material costs).

7. Diamond Disclosure & Legal Compliance

At Shiny Diamond Lab, we are proud to offer a curated collection of fine jewellery featuring both lab-grown and natural diamonds, as well as other precious stones.  Unless otherwise stated, most diamonds used in our pieces are lab-grown.
 

Lab-grown diamonds are chemically, physically, and optically identical to mined diamonds and are recognised as real diamonds by leading international bodies, including ISO (International Organization for Standardization) and the FTC (Federal Trade Commission).

 

Due to the nature of our product range, including bespoke pieces and design variations, not every product page may explicitly state the origin of the diamond. However, we remain committed to full transparency and are happy to confirm details on any specific item upon request.

Customers are encouraged to enquire if they have a preference for natural diamonds, specific grading, or gemstone alternatives, and we will gladly accommodate or advise accordingly.

 

We comply with all applicable South African consumer protection laws and operate in alignment with international diamond classification standards.
